Rachel’s life changed forever in 2014. A culmination of a spontaneous New Year’s Resolution and a lifestyle experiment led her to decide not to buy anything new or second hand for a year. She saved $52,680 (38% of her salary). Rachel broke her habit of impulse shopping and ‘buying just for the sake of buying’. She changed her spending and transformed her savings. As a result she’s happier and more content.
Rachel has 20 years of transport planning and behaviour change experience and expertise, has delivered two TEDx talks, was part of the BMW Guggenheim Lab, and has spoken in the UK’s House of Lords.
